Well. That truly sucks. The important part of all of it, though, is that you are still here to tell us about it. Bikes can be replaced, riders are too unique. I hope you heal quickly and can get back on the road soon.

Thanks all! I'm doing okay. Went to orthopedist yesterday. The ankle should be good in 3-4 weeks. The shoulder/collarbone, not so much. The two broken ends are nowhere near each other, and this being my dominant arm. Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning to put in a plate and stabilize things. YAY!
I'm getting a bit stir crazy, but looking forward to the other side.

Re: Rockster Blog...
So, I'm healing nicely. The ankle is great. Started back to work this past week. I'm doing terrific since surgery to put in a plate to repair my collarbone. That is also doing very well.
I've found my next motorcycle. A 90th Anniversary R1200R (2013) with just 1600 miles on it. [Since the bike is sold, the link doesn't work anymore]
Hubby and I will be driving down to Jacksonville on Friday, and after I test ride it around - not taking chances - he'll ride it home for me. Can. Not. Wait.

Re: Rockster Blog...
Wondering if I need to change my blog's name?
Anyway. I will have put more miles on Grace (my new R1200R) in a month, than the previous owner did in 3 years. I took possession of her with 1554 miles. He hadn't even changed the shock settings from the factory defaults! I rode to work this morning, then took the loooong way home. She now has 3070 miles. I've got a weekend to add a few more miles.
