There is such a thing as a minimum speed limit.
No there isn't.
In CA the closest concept is blocking traffic.... i.e. accumulating a line of cars behind you... and even that is only ticketable if you were doing it when you didn't have to (e.g. truck going slow up a steep hill is OK, M3 doing the same thing be breakin the law.)

Please make sure that you let someone know when you plan to do this so that they may tell us (the forum) that you've gone ker-splat into the front of a big ol eighteen-wheeler.

it's not an 18 wheeler... i've never seen an 18 wheeler at the canyons around here. although i've seen a vid of an 18 wheeler on deals gap.

This is a joke, right? You can't possibly be dumb enough to pass vehicles around double-yellow corners.
What are you trying to prove? What's wrong with you?

in wisconsin there is a minimum on the interstate, and on many county roads (45mph, and they're posted)
all depends on where you are

When I get back home (in VA visiting my dad for my birthday) I'm going to go and take a picture of a speed limit sign with the min/max limits on it.
There's no such place as California! I've never seen it or been there, so it must not exist!

Well, thats a good thing. But not passing on a double-yellow corner is a no-brainer, has nothing to do with anyone's passing skills. Passing should only be done when you have a clear view of the road ahead (straight roads, no hills)...I think they teach that on Day 1 of high school driving classes

yeah, like i said. when i get more skills and confidence... i will pass on any road as long as i have space to make it.
but for now... i'll stick to passing on straights.

Texas also has minimum speed limits (40mph) posted, on highways, not that I've ever been in danger of breaking that law.
I tend to cruise about 80mph on anything non-residential, unless I'm driving my truck here around Ft. Benning - I don't have the money to feed it gas, so I drive 65 and get passed by everyone and their mothers.
