Alright well il go to a few dealers around here and try on some helmets, I know the place carrys alot of shoei's. But yeah most of them cost a ton.

anyway i emailed that guy back about the bike running and if everything works.. and this is what the guy said.

"All good questions :)

1. It does run, but once you get it started you have to let it warm up for 3-5 minutes at least before it will take throttle input without dying. i.e gassing it and it dies.

2. All the gears work to my knowledge.

3. Shifter works

4. I'm selling as he had stored it in my garage and he decided he wanted to get rid of it. I told him I would list it on Craigslist and see what I got. Nothing too complicated.

Photos to come later today if I am able to get home over lunch."

yeah this bike is 176 miles away. so if its worth it, i wouldn't mind driving out there to pick it up

This is pretty normal for a carburated bike. you gotta let 'em warmup.

clean the carb yourself. Costs 3 dollars in carb cleaner, $20 for the clymer manual for your bike (which you should have anyway), and a couple of hours your first time doing it.
