I've learned from Verm if it's not a GSXR it's not a sport bike or SS bike.

i know you're kidding but i wanna say it again.
there are sportbikes that are not RR or SS/SBK bikes.

CB500 is one of the common post DAS tools, many riders over here have one as their first 'big' bike. Current production varient is the CBF500

There not just good for around town. Had mine for 3 years now and it's still a lot of fun to ride, have even taken it down the drag strip a few times. It's good 2 up (unless your both on the large side) and I've even been to rallies on it with all my kit. The only downside (and it's not really a downside) is that it has no screen, and you can get aftermarket items, but I've never felt the need to.
Due to financial cut-backs, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off until further notice!
