I've learned from Verm if it's not a GSXR it's not a sport bike or SS bike.

heh.

i know you're kidding but i wanna say it again.

there are sportbikes that are not RR or SS/SBK bikes.

Suzuki - SVS and katana
Honda - Interceptor
Yamaha - YZF 600R
Kawasaki - ZZR600
Hyosung - GT250R/GT650R

It's a bike in racing in the CB500 cup. A race is a sport. Ergo a CB500 MUST be a sportsbike!

Ladies and Germs I present Hondas CB500 sportsbike!

I want one of those! I think that would be a sweet around-town bike.

Baw, what movie is that from? Apparently I've failed in the movie buff category (which, if you knew me, isn't surprising at all).

CB500 is one of the common post DAS tools, many riders over here have one as their first 'big' bike. Current production varient is the CBF500

There not just good for around town. Had mine for 3 years now and it's still a lot of fun to ride, have even taken it down the drag strip a few times. It's good 2 up (unless your both on the large side) and I've even been to rallies on it with all my kit. The only downside (and it's not really a downside) is that it has no screen, and you can get aftermarket items, but I've never felt the need to.
