EDIT: actually forget that... if had $4000 lying around, i'll just upgrade my suspension, buy a trailer in a bag, and install a trailer hitch on my car.

i don't need a race bike yet.

my race replica is ok... just need to upgrade my suspension after i get my 1st trackday. that's the plan so far.

if i find somebody to hitch a ride with... i'll be at WSIR this coming Oct 2.

i disagree...

i don't need more power but i do need better handling. my bike is just too bumpy since the suspension is too stiff for my weight.

like i mentioned so many times already... i can't even set my static sag on the stock suspension. that's the basic and 1st step in having the right suspension settings.

Do you understand that a GSX-R, for all intents and purposes, is a race bike which means that it has STIFF SUSPENSION. Soft = poor handling.

If you want a smooth ride, buy a Goldwing.

yes... but mine is TOO stiff for my weight.

So you are saying a Japanese race bike is not designed for smaller people that weigh ~150lbs?

i heard the stock suspension on my bike is ideal for people around 180lbs.

and yes, i already went to a suspension shop months ago. they didn't even charge me bec they said they'll do what they can but they doubt i'll even feel a better handling since the stock suspension is just not designed for people as lightweight as me.

even w/ my gear on... im still only around the 140lbs mark.

Suspension changes won't make a whit of difference for the way you're riding right now.

You do NOT NEED it, you WANT it. Who are you trying to convince with your justifications? You or us?

Because WE are NOT buying it.
