I don't know if the same holds true (or if this is even relevant), but my buddy is a prison guard. And when dealing with an inmate if they touch him (without his permission ie. "take my hand.") it's immediately considered assault and he's allowed to react in whatever way he thinks is appropriate from yelling, "get the hell back." To breaking the guys nose, or macing him.
Anyways, I'm just saying that if she felt threatened a response of some sort is justified. Maybe it's just the way I was raised, but you don't just walk up and grab/make lewd comments at a woman.
And you definitely don't walk up to a biker and touch them while they're on their bike. Good way to upset balance, and cause a drop. Hell I've yelled at people just for touching my bike, let alone me while I'm on it.
The best way to deal with Zootech is to not. Found out the hard way it'll keep going until the other person stops. If you don't bite back he stops trying to get a rise outta you.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
