I suppose you all did not notice I said BACK in the day..
SOME bikes. (meaning old)...
I did not say ALL and I did not say NEW.....
and when I said some bikes ( Cruisers), I should have said old.
But then again I had a sporty that came off of the floor that use to pull and it was aligned.
Just saying that is what some thought, and some had , and some put there own brakes on.
Also in no way was I defending the old biker, but keep in mind everyone was a backyard mechanic back then.
I think and I could be wrong...that old kick off, came from the old race track era, (and movies).......I will have to call my old biker friends and clarify.
Anyways just stating what I feel the mentality of the era was. It's a whole new world of riding, riders and bikes not to mention what people think of other riders....Ex; pirates vs power rangers.....LOL
Anyways you all ride safe and do what is best for you...I do.
