Watcha going to do with a bike that's 5 times as powerful as the Ninjette?? 90mph wheelies in first gear down the Garden State???!!!!!

Gonna keep the Ninjette for Mrs. Rhadam??
Nah, the ninjette is going hasta-la-bye-bye. Assuming I can actually manage to sell it. I'm not very good at selling. I'm worse at negotiating, but for the B-King because of its 'good' looks, I got it for so low a price that it was irresistible.

The B-King has some serious electronics in the dash board that I like a lot.

I'm thinking the fugliness factor played a part for me and for other people.

I wanted a big bike, that was original looking (basically, everything I showed my wife until I showed her the B-King she said - yeah its a motorcycle... I'd be like compare these two bikes - which looks better.... Bleh.) And different. The B-King hit those for me. It just so happens it fits the 'put a bag on your head to ride it' for most other people.

It seems (according to the dealer, anyway) that they are not really making any more B-Kings - because they didn't sell out their limited production first year.

Hopefully, wheelies down the parkway are not in my future. I'd probably "poo poo" my pants. Although it does seem that I'm destined to not get out of third gear.

Oh, and strictly speaking - it is 4.8 times as powerful as my current bike. :) (if you take some online number as it having 160 hp)

I just have to be very cool and very smooth. But at least I won't have to shift halfway through a turn started at a stop light...

BTW, you don't need to take me seriously when I talk about fugly bikes - I ride a V-strom, y'know!

Hey now. That's character- not ugly

I didn't know they weren't making another run of Bkings in the U.S.. What a crummy year to make the decision in.

VStroms are ugly, but B-Kings are ugly-ugly. :)

Hehe - no problem. I have enough self-esteem that I can take it if people say my bike is the ugliest thing on Earth.

Now if they said my wife was the ugliest thing on Earth and it was true, that might be another story...

I sat on a V-strom. For such a tall bike... It has a relatively low seat height. I probably should have gotten it for the uses I do on motorcycles - but I wanted the most bike for my dollar.

The basic problem with the B-King will be turning it into a sport-tourer... When there are basically no or very little accessories out there for it.

I've got a line on a luggage rack... By Venture in England... Small shipping problem there. Not sure if I am a fan of their bags, but the rack should work with anything.

They have it listed as a 2009 model, but since they haven't sold all the '08s (to my knowledge) I'm not sure how likely it is that someone will order and get a B-King with a model year of 2009.

Pure speculation on my part.

Sounds like something from The Nightmare before Christmas.

You know, I'm feeling like that song that I've heard on cruise ships and casinos.

ugly wife

Get yourself an ugly bike and you won't pay full price.

V-Stroms may not look that great but they make great commuters with their comfy seating position, long tank range (DL 650) and have ABS for a decent price.

You guys are really starting to cheese me off! The V-strom is the bee's knees, the cat's meow, the denny's grand slam breakfast with extra bacon!

The crazy thing about it is that I own quite a few bikes. I used to love riding a different one every day and not just to make my friend's jealous. Now I ride the Strom 95% of the time. It has an amazing ride and does everything well
