Ryder the Russian road on that website is the route they took for the mc documentary long way round. It's a great movie/seriesRydr wrote:Nasty, nasty roads. Check out this link. It may take a minute or so to load as there are lots of pictures.

Re: Worst Roads
I've done #1 - the road to Coroico, Bolivia on a mountain bike. I had a great time and pretty much went all out - the "fun" part is that downhill traffic, including mountain bikes, has to take the ourside lane. Would probably be a kick on a dual-sport but I don't think I'd be going all out on a MC on that road.Rydr wrote:Nasty, nasty roads. Check out this link. If you ever are in LaPaz, I highly recommend the moutain biking tour down North Yungas Road. Not for the faint of heart or out of shape though. I'ts about $50 and is truly a once-in-a-lifetime thing.

I rode Taroko Gorge in Taiwan a couple times.
#5 on this list
It's still my all time favorite road -an absolutely amazing ride- but not because it's dangerous, the scenery and and the road itself are just incredible.
