Ryder the Russian road on that website is the route they took for the mc documentary long way round. It's a great movie/series

I've done #1 - the road to Coroico, Bolivia on a mountain bike. I had a great time and pretty much went all out - the "fun" part is that downhill traffic, including mountain bikes, has to take the ourside lane. Would probably be a kick on a dual-sport but I don't think I'd be going all out on a MC on that road.

If you ever are in LaPaz, I highly recommend the moutain biking tour down North Yungas Road. Not for the faint of heart or out of shape though. I'ts about $50 and is truly a once-in-a-lifetime thing.

totally agree, :laughing: i was nerverse too when seeing the signs. even my mother knows that :lol:

I rode Taroko Gorge in Taiwan a couple times.
#5 on this list

It's still my all time favorite road -an absolutely amazing ride- but not because it's dangerous, the scenery and and the road itself are just incredible.
