For hating on Wrider who hated on blues for being what she isn't, at a time when she was distancing herself from the French for being what they were (and are)... And then on that Wrider guy again for casting aspersions on my small but perfectly-formed island ("Over by Europe" he says - another grand Westpondian example of geographical sophistication!!!!!!).

And what, I ask, is the United States anyway if it isn't just a part-share landlord on another island over by Cuba?
( - or something like that!)


And thank you blues; as a matter of fact I do have considerable influence as a british citizen - over my grand-daughters anyway, though that probably has more to do with the contents of my chocolate drawer than the wording in my passport.

For living on a small island but having a very grandiose writing style... hahaha
And besides Puerto Rico is getting the short end of that stick. We've offered them state-hood but they'd rather remain a commonwealth, paying taxes but not having the right to vote...
Mind if I hate on the capital of the US too? I hate that our capital is not in a state but in a commonwealth (District of Columbia) that is small enough it never will be able to have the population to become a state.

You have too many states already: and they are all the wrong shape. They have confused your sense of geography.

I don't do grandiose. American politicians do grandiose with all their high flown rhetoric. I just like to use the occasional word with more than one syllable. Huh!

For using big words that are above our heads and beyond our comprehension.

For falsely claiming he is sesquipedalophobic and doesn't understand long words, when he is perfectly capable of handling a four-syllable, complex, Latinate word like "comprehension" for instance.
