Replaced the 11-year-old original battery in my Trophy. There was nothing particularly wrong with the old one, and the new battery doesn't crank any better than the old. Just the thought of depending on an 11-year-old battery was making me nervous.

Just about time to break out my battery tender... only have insurance for another month...

Took the DR for its first service at 550 miles then rode her back home. Opened her up for the first time after her oil change - she will do a ton and no problem.

Spent the afternoon painting my shed and supporting my neighbour whose wife died on Tuesday. He talked about her death and about motorcycles (he's a biker), bobbing back and forth in that strange intermediate way that people do when they suffer a loss like this.

Putting up the 2015 Yamaha motorcycle model Guide... can you believe 68 MODELS?! I've been working on this guide now for 13 hours straight and getting close to done, but still more hours to go and it's 10pm here.

Today I drove home from Kamloops via Merritt to Spence's Bridge and down the Fraser Canyon.

I was away for a few days visiting folks in the Okanagan and Kamloops. Here is a scene from my time away.

This is along The Old Hedley Road between Princeton and Hedley.

The river is the Similkameen River.

I got a couple of emails from Mike and JackoftheGreen asking if I was alright. Apparently y'all thought you could get rid of me that easily! Sorry to burst your bubbles, but I'm still alive and kicking... haha
He linked me to the article though, and yeah my name is Ryan and yeah I am 28, and yeah I live in Colorado, so yeah that's pretty close.

But I wanted to say hi to all of you! Hope you're all doing ok and your wheels are still turning!
