No, the Dnepr wasn't capable of extended riding periods at speeds above 75kmh. It was a great bush-bashing machine, but it just did not like pavement. So it was sold in favour of the new Ural with it's more dainty construction but higher cruising speed.HYPERR wrote:You had a Dnepr?Is that why you got the URAL because you missed it?

Hello all! I'm new to the world of motorbikes! My husband and I and my 20-year-old son just got our licenses. I'm the least experienced out of all of us...so much pressure on a lady! I look forward to mingling with fellow bikers and hearing your stories. I can imagine this being such a fun hobby!
