No, the Dnepr wasn't capable of extended riding periods at speeds above 75kmh. It was a great bush-bashing machine, but it just did not like pavement. So it was sold in favour of the new Ural with it's more dainty construction but higher cruising speed.

Hello all! I'm new to the world of motorbikes! My husband and I and my 20-year-old son just got our licenses. I'm the least experienced out of all of us...so much pressure on a lady! I look forward to mingling with fellow bikers and hearing your stories. I can imagine this being such a fun hobby!

long break from riding and currently Kawasaki 1600 Classic
