Nuts... well NYC has been lucky this year with its lack of snow fall and when it does snow it melts in a day or less.

Yester day Phillip and I went looking at bikes. I fell in love with the Harley Heritage Soft Tail. There was one used 2006, for $17.8 and a new one for $18.9 both fully dressed. Do those prices sound right?

Yup sounds right to me. If I paid that much for a motorcycle I would feel like I was bent over and thoroughly... well you get the idea. So I would say yeah those prices sound right for a Harley.

If I were in the market for a Harley right now, I'd check my local Craigslist. There's lots of low-mileage clean late model bikes out there for sale - lots of people having mortgage problems forced to sell their bikes.

I showed a couple the GS and they are pretty sure they are going to buy it when their tax return comes. The wife was looking to move up from a lifan or some chinese garbage they bought new and had nothing but problems with. The husband test rode the GS and he seemed really impressed. The wife sat on it and walked it around a bit and said she was comfortable with its weight. So, Im not gonna count my chickens before they hatch, but they said they really wanted it. So I guess the ole zuk is gonna get sold.

Hopefully a couple of dirt bikes for me and my son are in the near future. :dirtbike:

Lol well I'm glad you've got your new bike Doc, that's a pretty one for sure!

As for you Ceemes, get feeling better! Sorry about your back and your motor! If you were closer I'd lend you my car, but considering I'd need an oil change just to get up there, methinks we're a tad bit too far!

Ta Wrider, baby brother is loaning me his Ford Ranger for the time being, the one that my Sabre rode home from the Fraser Valley Toy Run in, so at least I still can get to work damn it. Might just buy it out right from him............or use the dead car as an excuse to buy that 1250S Bandit.

Monday I should know if my co-worker is back from hospital, she's been gone a week now. If so and I can still book the flight out, I will be heading to the UK for a few days to attend Grandad's funeral and service. Damn I really do hate this time of year, seems like everything major that gonna go teats up for the year happens between January and February.
