I say you buy the Bandit! Liquid cooled, more power than ever, comfortable ride... What's not to like? As for your coworker, hope she is back, and I really am sorry to hear about your Granddad...
As for the Ranger, eh, it's a Ford... get the Bandit, it'll last ya longer!

As for you Ceemes, get feeling better! Sorry about your back and your motor! If you were closer I'd lend you my car, but considering I'd need an oil change just to get up there, methinks we're a tad bit too far!

Ta Wrider, baby brother is loaning me his Ford Ranger for the time being, the one that my Sabre rode home from the Fraser Valley Toy Run in, so at least I still can get to work damn it. Might just buy it out right from him............or use the dead car as an excuse to buy that 1250S Bandit.
Monday I should know if my co-worker is back from hospital, she's been gone a week now. If so and I can still book the flight out, I will be heading to the UK for a few days to attend Grandad's funeral and service. Damn I really do hate this time of year, seems like everything major that gonna go teats up for the year happens between January and February.
Wait, you fit a saber in the back of a ranger? I'm sorry. it's a freakin production just fitting a 200cc dirtbike in the back of one, i can't imagine what it was like with a full size street bike

I guess you missed this
Thread.
Here are some pictures to recap on.
Just goes to prove the old adage, that with infinite care and plenty of spit, even an elephant can deflower a flea.

i guess they have a shorter wheelbase then i thought. Though I did that exact same thing to get my Ninja in the back of my dad's Tundra. Of course he has to have the TRD off road version...

It might be time for me to get rid of my MacBook. Being that it is glossy white and smooth I am being associated with snobs for having one. If only my mom didn't get a good employee discount on it I would've gotten an IBM ThinkPad.
According to this mentally challenged article using a Mac may make me a snob. Funny because I dislike iPods for their poor sound quality and I hate going to Starbucks and since I'm a rider I don't buy 5 pairs of sneakers but one good pair of construction boots.
So now I have two things to get me labeled negatively: motorcycle rider and Mac user.. though I am using a gaming Winodws PC to type this...

So your the Geek on two wheels, whats the issue, join the club, we have a geek in our group, and I manage a bunch of geeks so what of it...

Heck I am a redneck Geek on two wheels, just think how confused my family is.
Here is a shot of my deck with da fridge dat has da beer and crub that I can cook over either Gas, Charcole, or wood with a barn behind it. Oh and as for the Geek part, I have wireless good enough that I can watch Nascar out there, and have track pass on one of my three laptops or I can work from out there also. That of course is when I aint out ride'n around on my bike.

I just noticed that adding the picture just made it so you need to scroll to the right to see all the words. Is there a way to prevent that? Does it affect everyone and if so should I get rid of that post?

If people associate a MacBook with you being a snob, whose problem is that? I would naturally assume theirs. That's just like someone harping on you for the type of bike you ride; it's an opinion, not the law.
Windows lovers don't understand Mac users. They don't understand what good workmanship and excellent software is like, because they don't have it and thus can't understand the reasoning to spend over a grand on the computer. If you like the Mac, stick with the Mac.
And if people give you more "poo poo" about it, just shrug your shoulders and say "I buy what I like. If you're going to buy the computer for me, I'll use it. Otherwise, I'd appreciate it if you'd lay off."
Or just get a black MacBook. Ooh, stylish.
But for the love of God, don't get rid of a good machine just because someone thinks negatively of you for having it. God forbid you get sneered at because you do something that others don't agree with.
Y'know, so much for being yourself.
