Congrats on the new bike.

12% interest? Wow. I hope you used plenty of vaseline while the dealer had you bent over the table.

Do any of the pics feature you in front of the bike holding a sword or a .45? If so, let us know in advance because I don't think I can handle any more of those.

 LOL

Something like this???
hehe...

yeah but w/o the rear fender and pegs, reflectors, warning lables, and hopefully if my mechanic can figure it out, it will run reverse shift.

also, it will have frame sliders of course.

about the shifter... he said the shifter doesn't look the same as previous gixxers so he'll see if he can figure it out.

Congrats on the new bike. But may I offer my own $0.02:

In my opinion, putting GP shift on a bike you plan on riding on the street is a very bad idea. For track bikes, sure, having that extra 1.5 inches of clearance and fraction of a second to shift is great. On the street however, think about a panic stop from 4th gear. Is it easier to stomp *down* or pull *up* on the shifter in a panic situation?

And getting rid of your reflectors, well, if you like being invisible, OK. But remember that in CA those reflectors are required by law, and that just gives the popo one more reason to stop you.

That said, enjoy, and do try to be safe.

hmmm... reflectors are required by law? didn't know that.

thanks for info but i really don't wanna put them back on. i think i threw them away already along w/ the rear fender.

i didn't throw away the passenger pegs though. i'll keep it.

I have to agree with MontyCarlo about your gp shift... do you plan on doing many track days?
