I see you have your handy dandy comfy back rest as well....
I have a quick release and snap it on so my bag sits on back seat too.

It greatly reduces fatigue on those long runs and they hold a bunch of stuff too. Between the T-Bag and the dri-bag on the rear fender I can pack enough for a month long trip.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm sure I'll learn a lot and enjoy myself. Looks like a great site.

Hwy 149, The gateway is awesome the mesa's and mountains there look like they have little UFO's on them.

Haven't been on #149 yet, I'll include that on our 2010 trip. Going to San Carlos Mexico/Copper Canyon. Wanna come? Get a riding buddy, we pair up, and come on along.

Not quite, sunshine. Hinckley Triumphs are not the same company as Meridian Triumphs, which existed only until 1983. Even the logo is different, the only common factor between the two is that some of the workers at the Meridian plant were hired when the Hinckley plant was built.

And if you really want to get technical about it, the original Triumphs have more of a German heritage than British. But regardless, yes they ARE cool bikes.

THEN WIKEPEDIA ARE LIARS?Triumph Motorcycles Ltd is the largest surviving British motorcycle manufacturer. When Triumph went into receivership in 1983 John Bloor, with the assistance of JR Hunter aka "Yota" bought the name and manufacturing rights from the Official Receiver.[1] The new company (initially Bonneville Coventry Ltd) continued Triumph's record of motorcycle production since 1902, making it the world's longest continuous production motorcycle manufacturer.[2]
