
I'll go easy on you. First, I'm living in Italy, so - I don't care what you say, Pizza here is "Authentic." Better than that slop they serve from Pizza Hut or Domino's (Though Papa John's is actually pretty close)
Second. Pepperoni IS a pig product. And also, Pepperoni is NOT italian. Here they put spicy salami on pizza. Pepperoni means "Big Pepper" in Italian. It's a Bell Pepper.
Third, I'll have to agree with you that Italian Pizza IS round. But I grew up on Sicilian rectangular pizza with a thick crust, and that stuff is Wonderful - Especially leftovers that you can eat cold for breakfast!
Finally, Pizza is only made in Wood-Fired ovens. So unless you've had it cooked this way, you've never eaten Pizza. Just a sorry imitation. And as far as I know Wood ovens are banned in the USA because they are "Unhygenic." Also, real mozzerella is made from the unpasteurized milk of the water buffalo. First of all, there isn't any water buffalo mozzerella in the states, and second, all milk products in the states are required to be Pasteurized, so you'll never know what REAL mozzerella is. Sorry, you lose out big time.
