Of course, on the open highway I gladly wave my "O Ring" off and have been doing so since I started riding 26 yrs. ago.
for me if the road is divided i wont wave. if theres a turn lane and the other bike is in the lane next to the turn lane ill wave, if they are like 2 or more lanes away i wont bother.
