In all honesty, until I just read this post I though the wave was a harley rider thing.
My girlfriends step-father has a HD road king, and she told me that he only wanes to other HD riders and doesn't wave back to anyone not on a Harley.

Now that I know thats not true, I'm sure that I'll wave to anyone once I start riding.

She actually was in UNI and made great friends there she wants to move back there.

WVUbdsrfl........tell stepdad he needs to be friendly to all folks, what comes around goes around, he may break down on side of road someday
and it may be a metric that stops and helps him.
