Cool, it looks like I can spend most of my evenings out riding with Head Office Staff, rather than hanging out with a bunch of rigpigs trying to see who can get the drunkest fastest.

'Cept that I'll have to ride back to the motel room so I have a good excuse not to get pie-eyed.

sorry on the slow reply. busy boy. This little can of sardines is a classic Triple... the oldest thing i have ever owned. hilarious really, but interesting. hey at least it has disc brakes... not exactly TZ250 spec, but better than drums.
The GS-E model in your avatar reminds me of an old friends 750E... not so bad even if the 80s are littered with heavy heavy beasts but great sport touring bikes. perhaps when i have some time (next month!) i will PM you a note on it.
note to BUZZZz... im sure someone can show you a few nice roads not too far away... zoom zoom. if you stay until June 4 and 5, there is the local roadrace series event at Race City, round#2 ... lots of nice bikes and some recent changes to the track should make for better passing action and spectator viewing even from the main grandstands (although the hot viewing spot is toodling through the paddock and around the north end of the track -- the carousel section).
i dont know where i'll be... everywhere i go i find trouble... could be a coincidence, no?
later... monkey

Whatever day works best for you guys is fine with me. As of right now, my plan is to leave here sunday and tour down to Drumheller and ride the Dino trail, then into Strathmore by early evening. Then I am free and easy that evening and the rest after that until friday. Friday I was going to head up to Sylvan and check out Owens big trip memerobelia and storys. Don't have to be back at work till sunday, but after the week I just put in for them, I don't think I'm going in till monday. I don't really care if they fire me for it or not right now, but that will probably change by next weekend....

Im seem to be doing more wrenching than riding, not the bike needs any work done to it, Im kinda just messing with it changing it for modern wheels/tires breaks etc....I managed to get a set of rear sets for my GS1150, not bastardised ones off a new sports bike but a set of raask rear sets for the my exact bike(bless Ebay), and Ive allso got a new 4 in to one pipe, my second one ive bought in a month becouse the first one I bought came with apoligy letter from canadian post, and the added pleasure of being smashed to peices, and a impossible task of trying to receive any money back from Canadian post ( sorry for the inconveniance BAH) they arnt sorry at all.
any how, I wanna go for a ride soon, and when your upto it, if anyones up to try and get my bike off the deck with me, Id apreciate it, and ill fire up the BBQ and get a beers in
