The faster the bike I get, the less of a coffin I'm gonna need, more like a ziplock bag.

Re: Register Your Rides Here - Tell us about your ride!
Hi guys, nice to join the forum.
I started riding in 1985. It was a Hondamatic Hawk 400.
1984 V65 1100cc V4.
85 V30
94 VF750C (yellow) and 97 Magna,
88 VMAX 1200, Seat is painful, weak brakes, hard cornering, 25mpg, never again.
01 ZRX1200R, (fastest bike I had, excellent brakes, easy to ride, lots of style, Eddie Lawson replica, I'd get another if I can find one that's clean.)
99 Bandit 1200GSF, (cheap, crap, weak transmission, weak clutch, carbs are junk)
03 Bandit 1200GSF, (2nd generation, not any better, I'm done with Suzuki's.)
94 Concours (C-10) ZG1000, (Busy engine, 6 speeds so close together it feels like a 4 speed, top heavy, no leg room, horrible brakes on older models.)
04 Concours ZG1000, (16k miles, felt tight, well maintained, still not a nimble bike.)
05 Concours ZG1000, (Gold/Bronze, I liked it because of the clearview windshield)
94 ST1100 with only 94,400 miles, ($1250 bike, why not? Ran great.)
97 ST1100 with 31k (still have it, I'm hooked.),
VT500C (shaft drive, 6 speed)
03 VTX1800 (no more V twins for me, no paint shakers, Harley clones, heavy, noisy, hard to park.)
86 Kawasaki LTD700,(cute, peppy)
Currently I'm searching for a clean Yamaha XT600.
Of all the bikes, I like the ST1100 the most and therefore, honor that model in my user ID. It's a flawless bike to ride, 7 gallon fuel capacity, shaft drive, V4 power, quiet and quick, capable of 150,000+ miles, has tons of touring storage, and with the Corbin seat, it feels like it was made for me. The "tupperware" bikes just give me good protection from bugs, sand, cold night riding than just windshield mounted bikes.
