That doesnt work! Believe me I tried it to, and was way more successful when I just blatantly asked them out.
Actually, I was never successful with the whole 'scenario' thing. I only got dates when I asked them directly.
Use the scenario thing after you're already dating to get other things

it worked for me before, ranging from getting some simple dinner dates to having my 1st serious relationship.
oh well, i'll try not to worry about it too much now.

Me: "Hey, would you be interested in having dinner with me on Friday?"
Her: *blushing* "Ok"
Just passed 6 months.

On the other hand.....if she was interested, she would also have made an effort.
It sounds like she is not interested in anything other than being a co-worker.
