not sure of the cornering handling of the busa, but the Busa/GP thing is probably similar to why drag race cars don't look like formula 1 cars. sure both can go fast, but one goes fast straight and never turns, and the other needs different aeros to help them corner

Dude, you are falling for propaganda. Ask anyone that has experience, a hayabusa handles the curves just fine.

Of course it does! But compared to what? Certainly not a GP machine, nor any 600cc or liter sportbike. The Busa's wheelbase is designed to provide additional stability under acceleration for straight-line speed. But compared to non-racing motorcycles, it corners great.

i didn't fall for any propaganda, i have no hate for the Busa or any bike for that matter. i admitted that i didn't know and merely put forth the theory that because it is more stretched out, that it was built more like a drag racer than a formula one racer. when i said one is built for straight lines i meant the drag car not the busa

Ask anyone that has experience, a hayabusa handles the curves just fine.

i'm sure it handles curves really well, but does it slice them as thin as a motoGP would? only someone who has ridden both could tell us.

I'll also say that most people would say you can't Tour on a Busa, but iirc you travelled about 1000miles to visit your mom on yours. it's not marketed as a touring/hard cornering bike, it's marketed as the fastest production bike

i think the heat is getting to everyone (myself included) people are spoiling for a fight where there is none

I agree that it is not as nimble as a gixxer 750, or a zx 6, but it can handle the curves 95 percent as well given an experienced rider. I frequently hear people spread the misconception that a hayabusa can't handle, and that it is only good for a strait line, and that is incorrect.
