They had to change their plans due to some slow downs along the way. The jstarks rode out to meet dr_bar part way.

Don't feel bad....I'm still sitting here in Vancouver. My injuries are taking their own sweet time to get better.

You could send them a PM and find out exactly where they are.

We met dr_bar near Canaan, NY, this afternoon, and are now in Saratoga Springs, NY. Tomorrow we're going through the Adirondack park and will end up in Ganonoque, ON (Gummiente's home town). Not sure dr_bar's route after Ganonoque, but Mrs. Stark and I will be returning to south Jersey Sunday (.. and maybe part of Monday, may not make it in one day, 'tho we probably can if we stick to the interstates.)

Ahh, yeah, but the report from the kennel is that our Shepherd dog, Cody (Doofus) is getting cage-agressive. Won't let people near him. We'd never boarded him before so unfortunately there was no way to know this. We got him as a 2-year old rescue, we know he was abused before, but don't know much else about his history. Don't know what kind of traumatic experiences he's had. Well, anyway, we'll want to get home on schedule and get him out of the kennel before 3 years of handling and socialization all goes to hell.....

But I see we've got some nice nasty juicy thunderstorms in the forecast for Sunday, so it's not gonna be a fast ride anyhow... :(

Yesterday I left Danvers on the outskirts of Boston and rode to the NY border where I finally met Mr&Mrs jstark47. After introductions we left for a quick lunch on route then proceeded up to Saratoga Spings via some beautiful back roads. Today our goal is to reach Gummiente's place in Gananoque. Our route there will be close to the map below...

Distance Traveled: 380.5 kms

that section from tupper lake west to watertown is just, meh. If you want a more exciting route i'd take 28 or 20, that road that goes through inlet.

oh and, i wonder if they've paved the road through watertown yet...hehe.

We started the day in Saratoga Spings and rode up through Adirondack Park and ended the day at Gummiente's in Gananoque. The park is a beautiful place with excellant roads. I could spend a week exploring the area. Gummi and his partner are excellant hosts and served up a great dinner barbqued as we waited.

Todays ride was hot but fun, the highway out of Gouverneur was a super fun road that tested me with the trailer... Super day, thanks to Mr & Mrs jstark47...

Distance traveled: 421.4 kms

Now, Gummi was a little distraught when I arrived. He was so upset that he refused to let me take a hamburger home to blues because I never arrived with a sample of her famous cookies  Boy, I'm sure glad that I never started the trip with any of those, because for sur they would have never made it this far
