Some cops may or may not care about lane splitting or minor speeding but its nothing to count on if you already have a ticket. Assuming you only have one already on your current driving record.

Unless you can read minds and radar guns, its not worth it. Besides we all know there are three sets of driving rules, one for cops, one for the rich (best lawyers) and one for the rest of us. I have too many cop friends and relatives to deny the truth. I cannot say I know Paris  well.

Except when I went riding into Manhattan a motorcycle cop saw me sitting in traffic and offered to let me follow him out, I said nah and he was telling me he'll go slow to let me get comfortable with it. Next on the LI Expressway some off duty cops (as found out later) let me join them on the escape from the traffic hell and telling the guy inching up behind me to back the F! off.
One thing you can count on: You push a man too far, and sooner or later he'll start pushing back.

Those sound like some of the most awesome cops I've ever heard of!!! Not that I hate cops or anything, it's just the MC cops around here don't even wave back!
