Supercharger is constant "boost"
Supercharger is belt driven.
Turbo is NOT belt drived. And "activates" at what ever RPM you set it at, wich is normally in the high RPM range.

Close... Turbos have the exhaust routed through them, and are spun up by the exhaust gases. The more PSI they push, the more exhaust gas/RPM they need to spool up.

My friend has an EVO VIII and has the stock turbo on it, it spools up at about 2K RPM, which means no matter how he drives it, he's getting 20 MPG (even on the interstate). He's upgrading to a bigger turbo that won't kick in til approx 3500 RPM, and that, believe it or not, will give him better MPG.

This went front page on Digg, so it's probably getting hit too much for servers. Try, try again. I don't want to post pics. It's a bit graphic.

Those pictures are nothing new- that other site that has REALLY graphic pictures and a bunch of people telling you you're going to die if you get on your bike (do you know what it is yet?), that site's had those pictures for a while now.

Still, not the nicest of things to see.

I was in Oklahoma last year when that happened. It was all over the news.

Riding a bike at night, in traffic, at speed over 100 MPH is stupid.

Thank you for the warning. I won't bother to look at it.
There are some of us who don't care to see graphic images of carnage....(I'm guessing that's what it is)...so we do appreciate the warning about it.
