Hey I will be moving to California at the end of this summer. Anyone in the Sacramento area?

I don't have a bike yet but plan on buying one when I get to CA. Is there a club for sportbikes and such where I could find some help?

Santa Clara over here, south bay area. Just picked mine up 24 hours ago so it'll probably be a bit before I'm up for any long distance riding :)

I live in San Diego, I am looking for a ride I can take that doesn't include freeways. For my permit doesn't allow this type of travel. Yeah, I know its a little stupid, but I don't want to start breaking laws riding my bike. I have road up historic 101 to Oceanside. I just can't find any other rides.

Shame on us Californians for not posting since July 9th!

I guess we are all too busy out riding in this beautiful state!

We are in the Eastern Sierra (Bishop)...head on up US 395 and go west on about any road toward the Sierras and you find lots of twistys, alpine lakes and beautiful scenery.
