Yogurt that costs as much as ice cream, wasn't it supposed to be a heathly and cheaper choice? Just think if ya had to put that in your tank.

Well, you can just keep stretching out the estimated age of the earth in order to support your theories regarding our origin while I observe the facts and evidence all around me that support my beliefs. And, while you're at it, keep pumping out sarcasm as the main support for your viewpoint. God knows it's working magic opening my eyes...

well Again, im not trying to 'open your eyes' so ill be as sarcastic as i like because i find it funny.
just to go out on a limb then, do you beleive dinosaurs roamed earth? the bones they find in the ground are they real?
do you believe there were cavemen or did man suddenly appear(adam/eve)?
do you honestly think the grand canyon was infact formed over night?
did noah Really put 1 of every animal on his arc?
do you think stem cell research should be banned and why?
although its way off topic.

oh theres another can of worms, why is it so expensive to eat healthy? you can buy a cheap bag of doritos one of the most unhealthy things ever but a bag of apples will cost a fortune. its cheaper to buy soda than bottle water. mcdonalds can pump out the worst fatty burgers for no thing but a salad will cost you way more.

I'm not sure how it is I gave up and/or backpedaled. I just don't want to continue the debate if it's going to cause you to leave the forum all together.

Yes, of course dinosaurs were real. The Bible speaks of them very clearly. However, you believe they existed millions (or is it billions now?) of years ago and I believe they existed thousands of years ago and walked with man.

There have been countless tribes and groups that chose to dwell in caves, if that's what you're getting at. As far as Neanderthal man and such, I believe each and every example is a farce.
And, yes, I believe in Adam and Eve.

No, not over night, but in infinitely less time than evolutionists say it took.
iwannadie wrote:

No, he put
two of each animal on the arc. I'm not sure how breeding works where you're from but where I live it takes a male
and a female.

Depends on the source of the cells. Umbilical cord cells are fine, but cells derived from unborn children are not. Attaching abortion to a "noble cause" like cancer and Parkinson's Disease research is a nice try by the morally devoid in this world, but it ain't gettin' by me.

oops i ment 2 of every animal lol. so ok i happen to like the whole arc theory so lets roll with that one. Really 2 of Every creature on earth? do you really think its possible? what about animals in parts of the world that they didnt even Know about back then? how did noah get some tree frog that ONLY lives in africa onto his arc? what about insects did he have 2 of every insect as well? if the flooding did actually happen the whole earch was covered with water explain to me how plants survived? i have a plant that dies if i put half a cup too much water on it let alone submerge it under a mix of fresh and salt water for extended periods of time. also how did the animals survive together on an arc, you know how much food it would take to feed them? how did they not eat and kill each other. how did 2 of each animal manage to repopulate the earth. did noah carry baby tree frogs back to africa personally or have someone do it for him? also genetically how did this work, i know i had a thread recently about imbreeding dogs which obviously causes defects.
also the very most basic question, where did all the rain come from? how does enough water to cover the highest peaks on earth, fill ever bit of land just appear then vanish? then how does the salt water and fresh water manage to seperate themselfs again all while not killing the sea life?
not to try and open anyones eyes, this is all just for my amusment.

I didn't mean to start this discussion again. I retract the question! I apologize for stirring up an old can of worms - nothing good will come of another 'young earth', 'old earth' word war.

Wow! This thread runs all over but sure has some interesting opinions. As far as the whole theological discussion goes both of you guys need to do some research if you want to do more then recycle buzz phrazes for your sides argument. Theirs a dude named Ken Hamn that has compiled research form many scientists who share his beliefs and makes some interesting points plus has many of the answers to questions like "where did they poop?" "how did they end up where they are today?" ect. all of theese are theory of course, just like much of modern anthropology and paleontology. This topic seems to me to have less to do with motorcycling then the subject of fuel. The discussion of gas consumption and fuel economy is a very important one even if you don't care about it, it affects every american. One thing that should be noted is that more then 90% of our crude oil is imported from other countries. Some of theese countries are not exactly thrilled with the U.S. The top oil producing country in the world, is as we speak boycotting american goods. American produced oil accounts for less the 2% of the nations annual consumption. We need to both consider conserving the fuel we now have and about finding energy sources that meet our increasing demands and our reuseable or something like a trade embargo with just a few middle eastern countries could put our entire country in a tight spot.
