I've gotten a few private messages from people who have said they check my blog weekly... and I want to apologize to those people. It's been forever since I've posted here and the projects have been going very slowly. My girl takes up a lot of my time these days, and I'm not complaining about that. Also cashflow has been at a standstill... partially due to some legal... "issues" reguarding my Ducati, licence plate placement BS and whatnot, and to top it all off, for the next 6 months I will be living in a garagelss apartment
but anyway, even though I'm only halfway through a whole bunch of projects I'll put together a post just to confirm that I'm still here.
I finally got some paint (POR15) on my barrels:

you can't really tell from those shots but the coverage isn't great, I need to do another sand and coat, followed by a clear because POR15 fades like mad in UV. In that first pic you can see a pair of coils that just got a "Kit treatment" you can read about that here if you want.
and under the somewhat dorky catergory, there's the stands I made to bolt my 360 motors to:
stock on machine

the wing part of the honda logo I engraved into them:

I haven't cut the last feather yet.
in use:

I'm not sure why I didn't take a better pic of the stand parts themselves but in that pic you can barely see the "HONDA <" in the right corner (yes I know it's the new logo... I like the new logo)
and my super secret project:
new rubber.

this is the partfile for the gastank front hinges/bushings and the mold
the part:

They're ABS plugs painted the proper texture ready for me to put the graphics on and pour a mold. you can see the original part in the background.
I also want to make some fork boots

next I think will be intake boots.
Also several people have inquired about getting a set of my headlight brackets, I'd certianly be up for doing that. please pm me if you might be iterested at around $35 a set. I'm also curious if people want them just like mine with a machine finish or smooth.
thanks for tuning in

packing bikes
It's tough not having a garage, I was looking to get into a place with two garages to work out of, but my girlfriend and I decided to move in together and so we had to rough out the rest of her lease at her place for 6 monthes. Well I'm in the middle of that right now... holding my breath till March. And packing my toys into our 2 br town house.
Loud Bike has become the makeshift christmas tree:

right around the corner from the Duc

Squid has taken up residence in the dining room along with 69s' lump on top of the tool box:

upstairs you'll find the rest of 69 in the guest bedroom:

Check it out:
first side:

off and ready for deburr:

So my paychecks have been dwindling since work started to pull back on overtime and I'm really starting to feel it. So I've been shifting focus to some projects that might make me some money (which will go right back into more parts), and I've just finished my first run of headlight brackets. I cut 6 sets, 3 of which will be polished and 3 of which will have a machine finish. Unless some people that have already Emailed or PM'd me change thier minds, the 3 machine finish ones are sold out.
This is what the machine finish looks like:

the tops are straight off the mill plus a little dressing to make them shine a bit more and the sides are hand sanded for a crisp shine and to clean up some of the gouges I couldn't avoid.
the final prices on them minus shipping are $39 for the machined and $47 for the polished, I'll post up some pics of the polished ones as soon as I get a pair done. Those of you who've PM'd me, thanks for your' interest and I will be contacting you soon. And anyone who's interested in the polished ones I have left or more machined ones let me know.

thanks again
