Jon, there were a several people who seemed to take my decision harder than me! A couple of regular customers even got snarky about it and would give me a hassle every time they came in. But all is well now, let's just call it a temporary bout of insanity and move on.

JStark….no, it's not blue. It is black. I found that buying a second hand bike was not easy. Aside from budgetary constraints, the sellers I contacted seemed to not really want to sell their bike. One guy said, "Oh, my friend wants to borrow it for the weekend." I told him to let me know after the weekend and that if his friend didn't dump it, I would come and see it. I never heard from him for over a week. In the meantime, I had bought this V-Star from someone local. He had back surgery and was advised not to ride anymore.
The other guy told me....oh, I need to change the oil in it. I said ok, how about the weekend. Or how about in a day or two. He said ok, but when I contacted him, he had not done it.
Seriously, why list it for sale?
I was looking for a 2nd hand 650 V-Strom, but they are rare. Lots of 1000 available, but I didn't want a 1000. In the meantime, I have something to ride....when the snow and ice and frost go away.
