9K in 1st gear is illegal?

I once got trapped behind a railway crossing because of some jackass w/ straight pipes on his HD, which caused the automatic train sensors to think a train was coming... THAT bike was loud. Your bike just seems loud to you.

You think its loud at 9k - the trike is loud at 2k!

Running it for half an hour at 6-7.5k left me with a slight case of tinitus and an urge to change the exhaust sytem for something quieter...

Of course there is an arguement that if you, your bike and your riding is legal why would you mind attracting the attention of wandering Police officers???

i mentioned earlier that 1st gear @ 9K rpm on my bike is already around 65mph give or take.

that's highly illegal on the streets which mostly have around 35-45mph speed limits.

and yeah, maybe im just not used to hearing loud engine since i never owned a performance car. hmmm... actually, my integra can be modified to perform but i wasn't interested on spending money on it.

in his defense he said 9k in first gear would be illegal because he can reach 80 or some "poo poo" at 9k not that 9k in 1st gear is illegal

just kidding, i only ride 5-15mph above the limit depending on situations.

Which brings us back to your need to modify your bike to go faster in 1st.

Which brings us back to your need to modify your bike to go faster in 1st.

more specifically, your lack of real need to and more your want to modify it.

hey, i never said i needed it.

i just couldn't stand it when i found it was a limiter that causes my bike to have unsmooth FI in the lower gears and rpm.
