Mine's named "Matty." She's _matte_ black, Harley Fat Boy Lo. I'm SO in love with her!

I am in between bikes, but my last one was a matte blue Z750S. I called her Mirage.
It suited the paint colour and it sounded like a chic cool name.

My bike is the Orange Beast, the nickname for a wonderful orange tabby that I used to have...

It seems to fit!

I'll be naming mine Scarlet most likely because its red and reminds me of a red dragon from a book I once read.

^Welcome to TMW, Kawigirl! I'm guessing the bike in your avatar is not the soon-to-be-named Scarlet?

Re: LADIES - Have you named your bike?
i name everything! kind of silly that way- i've got roxy, the 72 honda cl175, she's red and it fit the 70's thing for me. the new one, 83 ascot, hasn't been named yet. need to get to know her better!
i've also got betty, the 94 civic art car, geraldine, the 86 reliant wagon art car, and zippy, the 71 dodge dart 4 door. zippy was named after the original working name for the dart, the dodge 'zipp' soo glad they went with 'dart'!

I just call my bike "the boy" cos he lives in the shed next to his big brother bike
(Rocket III).

Re: LADIES - Have you named your bike?
My baby doesn't have a name yet. I just got her three days ago and I've only ridden her once. She'll for sure get a name though, because I name everything.
My car is named Stella. So when I'm upset with her, I can go "Stelllllllllla!"
My scooter that I had when I was 15 was named Louis.
My bicycle is named Steven.
My 86 Honda Rebel 450cc is defiantly a girl. I'll have a name for her soon.

Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight.
No matter what marque you ride, it's all the same wind.
Four wheels move the body. Two wheels move the soul.
Never trade the thrills of living for the security of existence.
