i don't like being passenger in a car, so i doubt i'd like it on a bike.

that being said,

if a woman was at least my weight and strength, was a good rider who knew how to balance a bike 2up,

sure.

and as far as this whole idea that a man riding pillion behind another man is "gay"...

gimmie a break. soldiers and biker clubs have been doing it since the motorcycle was invented. it's only RECENTLY that men have become so insecure to think that riding behind another man on a bike would make them less macho or gay.

ever see an old movie or old pictures with motorcycles in it? chances are if you see enough you will come across one where there are two men on a bike. ever see the (Arguably)most famous biker movie ever, easy rider? how come nobody automatically thought that jack nicolson was gay? :frusty:

Or The Motorcycle Diaries. I don't think anyone though Che Guevera was gay either. If you recall, he and his friend rode around South America....gasp....on one bike.

Most women riders that I know ride more conservativly than men, I would rather get on thback with them than most men I know. The women would not have anything to prove, I often get men on their own bike trying to "impress me". They would probably do the same with me on the back, i would not like that. :?
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

I don't like it either. I have been scared on a few occasions because of what you said.
Now...I am very choosy about with whom I will ride pillion.

I'd never let anyone, guy or girl on the back of my bike to ride in the first place.
