Not at all..... Just came back from a ride, 50 some miles down through the Pine Barrens and back. It's 37F out - it wasn't bad until the sun went down, about 5:10. The last 20 minutes were a little chilly. Mrs. Stark's making grilled cheese and tomato soup for supper now, that will warm me up! :D

it really is a bit weird...its been in the mid 30's for a week or so, and we got 3" of rain/slush (not sure if the slush is from the sleet or from the snow melting...but there is a lot of it). Its a sloshy pit up here...and next week when it gets back to highs that are -0F...its going to freeze...gunna be a fun time

I cannot IMAGINE -30 degrees C.

The coldest I have EVER been is about -10 Degrees C. (14 fahrenheit)

I have only seen snow ONCE in my 40 years on this planet.

At the moment it is a wonderful 28 Degrees C (82.4 degrees Fahrenheit)

Clear skies with thunder showers later.

Perfect riding weather.

Oh geez, i am never gonna live that one down. I waved the peace flag
wait TG, lest we forget the agreement between yourself and Buzz, which I think I will now also sign on to - it's GUMMI's fault! :)
still recovering - back to crutches, then walking with a stick, then running - then hopefully riding again!

Ya know, the common theme I'm seeing here isn't Gummi......

I am starting to think Tgirl might be the trouble maker here..... :humm:

Oh yes, I can ignore my own behavior to pin this on someone else. Easily....

Blame it on the 2010 Olympics. It is fast approaching and OMG.....Cypress Mountain hasn't got enough snow. It's not like the officials weren't warned about our "iffy" winters.
The IOC or whoever is now having ski ramps built and are trucking or snocatting or helicoptering snow from the top shady side of the mountain.....sigh....if it keeps on being this mild, that won't last long. It's apparently too mild for the snowmaking machines to make snow.

It was so mild on Thursday I rode my motorcycle to the motorcycle show.

Well, if Dubai can make this..... http://www.skidubai.com/dubai/mountain-ski-dome/

......then why not a climate controlled soccer/football stadium???

There are indoor playing fields all over the world...why not SA?
