Today, I went to the hondasakimaha dealer. First time I havn't activly drooled on anything. Though the HJC helmets with the built in sun visor is pretty "procreating" slick, and even clears the glasses.
I have a CKX helmet with the integrated flip down sun visor, Its not bad, but I find its a little blurry (could be the plastic used for the sun visor, you never know) and it fogs up fairly easy. I prefer to use sunglasses. I guess if you have prescription glasses that could be a bit of a problem though.
yeah  ecspecially since i lost my perscription sunglasses. There goes $150+ :frusty:

contact lenses are the way to go....I went to them and after getting used to poking my fingers in my eyes every day I wouldnt go back to glasses... Although if Im feeling lazy I will go back to the glasses for inside. I would like lazer surgery but man its a bit $$. would be nice to wake up and look over at the alarm clock and not need to be 3 inches from it to see the numbers.... or go swimming and see whats going on on shore. And I feel for you loosing the glasses. I lost a prescription pair on the way back from the camp once. after that I bought a pair that now lives out there full time.

Roday I played the Battlefield: Bad Company demo for a good 5 hours. I finally made myself put down the controller and walk away. And found myself here

I can't wait for the full version to come out so I can play on some different maps :frusty:

I spent 4-1/2 hours at the gym doing my rehab stuff.....then I went to my brother's and did some routine maintenance on his computer.

He is extremely computer challenged. I got rid of some old outdated programs (like a 2004 version of Norton that was just taking up valuable space), cleaned up c drive and ran a defrag.....deleted a couple of hundred very old emails....etc.., etc.,

I have to go back and finish the job....I told him to make sure he gets some virus protection....there isn't anything on his computer. That would explain why a few months back his email was sending out emails without him really sending any emails and why a bunch of emails addresses from my address book ended up in his....

Sigh....
Next time I will go when I have more time to allow.

I did 2 crosswords and a sudoku.

Got some more holsters done. I changed the kind of top coat I was using. Tried Resolene instead of Tan Kote, I think I like it better.

Did some grocery shopping. I was so excited the commissary finally stocked, after months and months of none, ranch style beans. I threw in plenty of cans, but on the next aisle I forgot the coffee filters.

Oh, I also built a cheapy lightbox from a rattled cardbord box and some tissue paper. Works wonders. I just need to get the lighting fine tuned and figure out what some of these button do on my camera.

My IWB I'm ready to roll out...after I name it..still Nameless:

Who in the New York City/ Long Island area are going to the Hot Import Nights show today?

I've been trying to get some people to go but no dice.

Hey what's happening? First Mashby, now you Eddie.
Don't tell me, it was our delightful weather that tempted you back!

For myself, I went up to London and came home with a pile of books about travelling in Afghanistan.

I got my bike back today.
It shifts better than when it was new. I got only a day permit for today but in a few weeks I will put proper insurance on it.
