I hear you Blues, we have a secret weapon for guys like this, as we Marshals are recognised as deputised Metro, we can have strobes on our bikes. We let the guy pass pull in smoothly behind him and then hit the strobes, this is usually enough to give the guy a heart attack and they promptly behave. I fully understand your frustration though, props girl, props

Props, heh.....I think I should start wearing my black leather, get a plain helmet without the girlie graphics...and a few patches for the back of the jacket.

How about this?

I put my car back on the road...I'll be driving the car again for commuting most days for another little while. I was having a mild anxiety attack this afternoon so I decided to drive tomorrow.

When school gets out and people start going on vacations, there will be less traffic.

I took a different route home today. :) ....just in case.....

I just can't believe the crazies out there right now.

I suspect I can't afford that jacket....but if I could...I'd wear that. I like it. I suppose I could get fake guns...but the police would probably harrass me.

I looked up that jacket. It is $1200.00. They are a limited edition jacket...considered art...

Gives me ideas though....to go with the mohawk of course.

I am happy to report that my new gloves keep my hands dry. :kicking:

I bought a pair of Alpinestars All Weather Riding-Touring Gloves. WR-3 Gore-tex Glove.

It was like a monsoon when I rode to work the other day. Although my fingers were cool, they were dry. My friend would not be able to wear this kind of glove because they would be too hot for his hands. My hands get so cold that I will investigate heated gloves for next cold season.

My new riding boots are by Teknic. So far they have lived up to their claim of being waterproof. It took a lot of trying on to find the right boots. I am glad I did not settle....these boots are comfortable enough for a whole day of riding....and if it starts to rain while I am out, my feet will be dry.

Now if only the helmet manufacturers could come up with a "no fog" shield that really does not fog up. Some still get fogged, while the ones that don't get fogged just get covered with condensation making it equally difficult to use. It means keeping the shield open a crack.

In the meantime, the Fog City or Pro Grip shield insert works. I personally prefer the Pro Grip but many others prefer the Fog City.

Most motorcycle shops carry one or the other. They can also be bought online.
