In the end I have seen some dealers who won't work on any brand except what they carry. One of them is a local Honda shop by me. They will only work on Hondas, and certainly not Harleys. I think you will be hard pressed to find a Harley dealer that will work on anything accept Harleys, but that is practical as a bussiness. That way you don't have to stock anyting accept Harley stuff. I go to a multi-brand dealer who works on anything. There are both in the world. Harley is doing what makes sense to them as a company, and if you don't like it, just stay away from them, as said above.
