Several sources online are reporting the upcoming release of the Griso 850 (using a bored-out Breva 750 engine).

The Moto Guzzi US site hasn't been updated since 2005. But, if you're interested, the Moto Guzzi National Owners Club may have more info regarding recent Guzzi press releases, rumors, etc.

UPDATE:

MG is now showcasing a Griso 850 and a Breva 850. But instead of boring out their 750 engine they are using the 1100 engine. Thus, the size and weight of these 850s are the same size and weight as their 1100s. Must be some Euro motorcycle license restriction thing going on here.

Good that you pointed that weight issue out. The 850s have the making of real pigs IMO (think BMW R850R---oh what a best seller that was in the U.S.). However, I'm pretty anti-Guzzi from my bad Breva experience.

Displacement has very little to do with wsether or not it is a pig (if you are under 1500cc...anyway  ).
What was your bad Breva experience????
