Oh shoot.

#1 Unread post by Ninja Geoff »

Oh man guys I got some baaad news. So i was sitting here about an hour ago bored as "poo poo" so say say ""fudge" it, i'm ripping the dirtbike out". So there it is, 12:30 and i'm warming up the bike. I pull out into the road, get going and see lights coming. Flashing lights. Blue and red flashing lights. And a PA going "You on the bike, pull over". So, what do i do? I run. I dart down the path, get to the first little clearing and BAM. Mud i didn't see. I'm down, i can't get the bike to kick, so i run. Ditch the jacket (it has reflecties) and helmet; i wrapped the helmet in the jacket with the shiny side in and threw it in the little swamp. Then i started running, i jump behind a log and hear the cop running towards the bike. So, i start sneaking around the swamp (about 100 yards across) and come out in the neighbors yard across the street. Wait by the road cause i see another cruiser coming down the road with his blues flashing and wait. He goes by and i dart across the road and go in the back door. So much for my dirtbike

Oh man, i'm screwed, what do i do?

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Didn't you know?

The cops can't arrest anyone or seize property on April 1. I am surprised they were even working.

If your for real, and I ain't sure yet, then you broke several 'rules of running'.

Running off-road at night.

Not knowing the terrain by braille.(while running at night. tsk, tsk)

Stopping.... for any reason. (this one will bite you in the azz everytime)

Dumping your gear.... equivalent to putting on a dress to fool the cops.... stand by your convictions, man, your a dirtbiker, dammit.(or you was...)

Abandoning your bike..... you got nabbed, dude, that's the long-n-short of it.... and you left your bike there all alone to take the heat.... you deserve to lose it.....and she deserves better than that..... if you had stuck by it and played stupid/scared, you could have got away with a warning, or at least still have a claim to the bike..... now all you can do is claim it was stolen and try to reclaim it, a chickenshit move at best..... wanna play like that, you gotta take the fines with the fun.

I really hope your shittin' me.
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

That sequence of events was almost as good as what I did this morning (12:45 AM): took a few shots of Maker's Mark, put on my old helmet I dropped, some sandals and a tshirt, then did a stoppie in front of the police station, while giving them the finger. With my right hand.

Oh, you modded your bike to have the front brake work off your foot brake as well huh?

Wow, Geoff. That was stupid. You probably would have been much better off if you had stopped and talked to the cops. Instead, you tried to elude the police which is a felony in some states. If your story is true and they catch up with you... you're likely screwed. Don't know what to tell you other than to own up to your actions.

We're the first ones to die
The first ones in line for that pie in the sky
But we're always the last
When the gravy's shared out
For the worker is working when the fat cat's about

 I hope you were wearing shorts when you did it.
