Im looking for a spare helmet holder/lock. The one under the seat sucks. I put a spare helmet under there and it melted after touching the exhaust. Now my spare helmet looks like something from a mad-max prop list.
I remember in India you used to get helmet locks/hooks that could be bolted onto 3/8 in sissy bars, handle bars etc. I wonder if something like that is available... online for the US.
Here's a pic of what Im looking for.

I don't know why you'd want your spare helmet hangin out in the breeze there while you are riding. The doodad you hung yours to is only supposed to hold the helmet when the bike is stopped
If it rains or anything the helmet gets all wet and nasty, not to mention accumulating road grime on the inside...
Maybe you should look into a top case? Virtually every bike in Italy has one.

I have one of these. http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Prod ... elmet+lock
It is designed to be mounted on the handlebars but I guess it is possible to mount it to a sissybar or passenger grab bar.
I like these too, but only when the bike is parked http://www.barender.com/
