Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and from what I've read so far, I'm glad that I'm coming back to biking after 15 years or more (of driving).

I'm currently looking at a used honda cbx750P (a police version) which is shaft driven rather than chain. Any of you out there has any experience with such a bike or any inputs to what to look for when selecting a used bike.

Thks for any assistance.

That's a sweet ride. I have no exprience with the bike, but I'm a big fan of the air-cooled inline 4's from Japan in general. This bike is clearly made for the highway and for a guy to sit on it all day.

If you are looking for a comfy bike to get you from a to b with no hassle then that is the right bike. From what I can remember the bike feels wide between your legs and you have to do things slowly and precisly when you ride. Big pull on the clutch, big toe up. Braking took some strength but a very stable ride, no big suprises.

1) It's a cb750, so should be a great, reliable bike
2) Police version?? Too cool, you MUST buy!!
