Hello folks! :)

I'm a new member here and just wanted to drop in and say hello to you all. I recently purchased a super-clean, red 1995 Yamaha V-Max that I'm very proud of. I had one when I was in college a number of years ago, but regretfully had to sell it for various reasons. :?

I'm back on the saddle again and loving it, so it's good to be here! :D

Does anyone know of any good Yamaha V-Max specific internet forums I could visit as well? I've had a hard time finding anything for some reason....:frusty:

Anyway, it's good to be here and happy riding!

Thanks! I went to that URL and signed up, but no one is over there- I mean it's dead... I've not been able to find a forum that is not a Yahoo or Comcast-based "groups" website to visit. Those are difficult to navigate and the threads are hard to find, etc. If anyone else has anything, please let me know and I'll keep looking. :)

I feel ya. I got booted off the Kawasaki forum, the VROC forum is full of AARP members, and the Mean Streak forum I joined is about as active as Star Jones's sex life.

Welcome to TMW! Prepare to have your threads hijacked!

Hey Zoo , what's wrong with AARP ? I resemble that remark and happen to be a card carrying member.........

Yeah, but you're also about a thousand times more interesting to talk to than anyone over at VROC. They're all good people, but the topics they start are about as boring and pointless as they come. I'm trying really hard to fit in over there, but apparently owning a Vulcan is not the only prerequisite. Those are some tough nuts to crack!

It seems as if the only V-max boards I find are in some other foreign language or something and those guys across the pond have wayyyy different tastes in how they mod their bikes than the USA guys, that's for sure.

On a different note- I'm going to put this sucker on our chassis dyno this Saturday to see what she has and then we plan to tickle her with a little nitrous to she how she likes it. 8)

A sweet bike to be sure. I've thought of owning me a V-max from time to time. Wonder if Yamaha is going to up the ante?

This is the mt 01. Looks like a cool meshing of sports bike into a Vmax like feel.
