Don't know if it's fixable. Admin quit paying a penny a post long ago, anyway.

I'm sure if it's possible they'll be restored. Mike's got his hands full just now, so we'll just have to wait and see...

You got that right on both accounts.
No one has lost any of their "post credits" and the ranks are now working. I just have to put names to them asap. (Tricycle Squid is still there as the first rank BTW)...haha
As I have forgotten the post amounts for each rank I decided to redo it this way:
Tricycle Squid: 1-6 posts
Rank 1: 7 - 25
Rank 2: 26 - 50
Rank 3: 51 - 100
Rank 4: 101 - 250
Rank 5: 250 - 500
It may change, but that is what it is set for right now.
Mike.

so you attach value to someone who posts more??? seems like the more time you spend posting the less time you spend on a bike, right, so your oppinions on motorcycles and all that they entail are of LESS value. just my humble oppinion. post mean commence flame....

John? You have even more posts than Total Motorcycle himself. How many miles have you ridden on bikes in your lifetime again? That should answer the above question.

John (oldnslo) has many many (many) years of riding (and god only know what else motorcycle) experience that he LOVES sharing with all us lucky newbies*.
John leads by example in posting messages in the forums, I and everyone else just try to keep up to the old man!
*Newbie to John: Someone who started after 1950.

Well Mike, you might try, but I've already found it's futile. Noone can keep up with John.

Is that what I have to look forward to in my old age. Sitting in front of the computer staring at TMW all day long?

The truth is, if I was retired, I'm sure I would have a lot more posts here on TMW as well. I would be riding, travling, taking photos, finally building that model train layout I have always wanted, and posting on various forums.
