Daily driver
im just curious as to how many of you guys use ur bikes as daily drivers of course weather permitting. i mean one of the main reasons i got mine was for this simple fact. i have about a 30 min drive to work every day so about an hr of driving time a day. saves alot in gas and make my ride fun

I do. Whenever the weather is nice and I don't have a lot of items to carry, I'll take the bike. My commute is so short that it doesn't really save me any money, but it does make for a fun start to the day.
If I commuted every single work day, I'd only put 2,500 miles a year on the bike.

Must be the Mtn. time zone. I'm at school in Utah and I don't think that anyone driving a cage sees me.MASHBY wrote:But not so much in Calgary due to the winters and useless cagers drivers here.It has to be the most dangerous city in the world to ride a bike. And Ive ridden in Rome!!!

I use my bike as a daily rider. Only reason I keep the car around is for giving people rides and moving large objects.
As long as there isn't (much) ice on the ground, I use my bike as a commuter. Then as the weather improves she sees a lot more back roads.

No car. Use the bike daily for everything all year round. Just about possible now here in globally warmed UK.
