Wouldn't it be the same thing if they just cut a bowling ball in half and stuck it on their head?

Not enough padding (unless you line it with bowling socks of course) :P

I use a half head, and I think it'll get the job done. I tend to use it more when it warms up rather than sweat like a field hand. Besides, I live in S.W. Texas and summer here are in the 100's. Try sitting at a light...in a full face...on a big arse cruiser. No thank's...

I have a Shoei half. Much, much cooler ride and you can hear a bunch better. How you guys can wear those full face things in beyond me. Might as well put a bucket on your head. :)

Shouldn't decent ventilation prevent this problem? Then again it rarely gets that hot here so, I dunno.

What kind of ventalation helps at a stop light, in heavy traffic? I'm just sayin'. half heads are more comforable.

Maybe it's not true for you guys, but when I think of those half helmets, I picture those fat old dudes on Harleys with the big dumb ape hanger handlebars, and they're all decked out in leather trying to look all "cool".

I can't stand people like that.

I hadn't realised that 25 was old fart age. Must have missed the memo.
