Nice to see the bike cleaned up a little. Take it easy on those canyon roads.

Looks good, cant even see it from the first pic.

Have you considered picking up some nail polish or something to fill in the white marks where you made the join? I'm sure you'll find a color that is at least close, and it's probably a lot cheaper then a touch up pen.

Glad to see the bike is back in one piece.

nope, i sorta gave up on the idea that i can fully mask it.

anyway, im very satisfied already w/ its current condition. it doesn't bother me anymore.

and also, i bought my self a chain lube and a tire gauge.

and im still thinking over if whether i should buy a pit bull rear stand or these... Front and Rear stand

the pit bull rear stand is $140.

after that, i could lube my chain a lot easier.

Yeah looks pretty good. A tire stand is probably going to be essential if you're planning on doing more work on it yourself (in the future).

Oh and this might interest you. Today I went out for a short ride (bought a new jacket post will be in my blog). And while I was waiting to make a left hand turn onto my street a GSXR-1000 pulled up beside me. We started chatting and it turns out that he has one of two 2006 GSXR-1000 Ltd Edt (all balck) in Alberta.

That was a sexy little beast. Made my mud splattered 599 look a little shabby.

Too make matters worse it was his GF that bought it for him. I asked where I could get a GF like that, but he didn't know.

i could get those for $100 and it comes both front and rear.

while the pit bull rear only is $140 but the name is very trusted.

No experience with the stands myself, but the feedback on them is very good, take a look through his feedback and you'll notice that a lot of people seem to be happy with their stands. Including several "Slow shipping, but worth the wait," comments.

oh well, im not in any rush since i did have my chains inspected today.

i also sent the link to my mechanic to see what he thinks of it. i have no doubt that the rear will be fine since my mechanic said most stands are good but just make sure i get one for bikes w/ spools.

regarding the front though, he highly recommended the pit bull.

so im not sure about the front on that one if it's good enough so i sent him the link.

Also, everytime you lube the chain, you need to tighten the chain.
