Hi
I have a HJC helmet and i want a tinted shield. But when it comes dark a tinted shield is not very safe. I dont want to remove my tinted shield to put on my stock clear shiel when i want to ride at night.
I have seen some shield insert that you pu on your inside of the shield and you can remove it when you want. Can anyone tell me where i could buy this or let me know a compagny that produce them..if they really exist.
Thanks

I have a pair of cheap plastic sunglasses that I can comfortable slide on once my fullface is on... works fine for me. Dont know about the insert thing

Yeah, I think I'm going to keep my clear visor on and just get some good shades...I was out the other day with the mirrored visor...was fine until the sun went down

I love my mirrored visor. I don't like wearing sunglasses. I find that I have to keep my head down to keep my eyes shaded when wearing sunglasses and that causes a strain on my neck. I just carry the clear one so I can see at night.
I know the strips you are talking about, but I can't remember what they are called. The motorcycle shop's closed today, I'll check back tomorrow.

I own one of these (Nolan N-Com Classic 102 w/ Vision Protection System)... maybe when you need a new helmet you can check out something similar...

Some helmets have tinted eye-shades built in. I know Caberg do (my dad has one). They look a bit Airwolf, but they work pretty well. Personally, I wear Guarders.

Fogcity makes a light-reactive insert.
